Battlefield series games usually focus on large, online multiplayer battles, with emphasis on piloting a number of vehicles as well as team-based infantry combat. Playing in squads has also become a major element of games in the series. Since Battlefield 2, all games in the series centrally record online statistics for each player allowing the players to receive rank promotions and weapon unlocks based on their statistics as well as awards such as medals, ribbons and pins. A class system has been present within all the Battlefield games. Each class features a different type of primary weapon along with different equipment, differentiating roles on the battlefield. The ability to melee other players with a knife has always been present in Battlefield games. Also since Battlefield 2142, the series has included an award of dog tags for each player killed using a knife. Battlefield 3 is the latest game in the franchise. Thoughts on the game, or stories of playing you'd like to share. _______________________________________________________________________________________________ I personally love the Battlefield series, Ive played Bad Company 1&2, 1942, 1943 and Battlefield 3. the teamwork and vehicle aspects are awesome. Also the destructive environments. Its defintley my favorite online multiplayer game. The kit aspect is awesome make so you use teamwork instead of lone wolfing it. Tons of guns and vehicles to drive or fly. Def cant wait til Battlefield 4

I have only played the third one, but I do say I love it. It feels very intense and the guns feel like they have power in your hands.
I really need to play more again. XD Zach you need to get a hold of me more often.

So i recently went back and played some 1943 which still had people playing it. Wake Island was so much fun to go back to. Game is alot simpler with the 3 kits and infite ammo. But i gotta say the water in that game looks so good still. we should play it again with group be fun.
